Love a challenge!

We all love a challenge so, when Eva asked me if I could make an emo doll I did. Unfortunately the colours in the photo are not that clear.
She doesn't have a name yet but I am working on it. Emo kid has black and white stripe socks and top and a burgundy skirt.
She is wearing a neckband with a green heart and a camo bag with green flower detail and on sholder strap there is a skull. She has black hair with a burgundy streak in her fringe. She is inspired by the Gorjuss pictures and a girl at my son's school (didn't get the name!).
Not sure whether she is for sale yet but I am working on a dress, more accessories etc. so she can have a change of clothing.

Post Easter Holidays

Hi, I have been so busy with the kids over the last two weeks, Easter Holidays, that I haven't had time to blog at all!
Here is my latest effort. Emo pixie hats. Black and white pixie hat with red bow details and cherries detail. My little girl looks cute in hers and Eva looks quite cute in hers also!
Hope you like them.

Bunny Ballerina

These are my newest project. Inspired by a poem that I used to read Cameron at bedtime called Lizzy Longears the bunny ballerina (sorry Cam!). Made out of pink and white and lemon and white baby dk wool. They have striped legs and arms. Also they each are wearing a little pinafore dress with white cotton trim. I think they are sweet looking and I haven't shown them to my daughter for that reason. Hope you think the same.
Mouse to follow (watch this blog).

My weekend!

My weekend consisted of work and making these two little items. The little bag is claret and black striped (not good in photo) and the cherries on the front are red buttons and crochet stalks. The other is an applique brooch in black and white with a large crystal bead in the middle on a brass pin (made to order).
My family, however, had great fun at a Judo Club Dance. By the way who is that dancing with my daughter?

Mickey Marmalade

Here is my latest animal blankee. Mickey Marmalade (ode to my brother-in-law David!) is the latest in a long long line of blankees. He is made from gorgeous soft and chunky mixed ginger/brown wool. I saw this wool in a little shop in the village near to where I live and immediately it made me think of a large ginger cat. So what could I do but rush it home and transform it into the aforementioned blankee.
Hope you like it.

Hello Kitty Project

This is my latest project. My daughter Amelia is very keen on Hello Kitty. I have made this little Hello Kitty with a blue top and lilac skirt. She also has a little pink and yellow flower in her fur. I am not sure I can wait until Easter to give this to her as she will go mad when she sees it.

Punk/Goth Bat Blankee

Well Eva, Here it is the long awaited punk/goth bat blankee. Made up in emperor purple and black dk wool with handy pocket on the front for "didees". The photo doesn't show but the eyes are claret in colour and the edges of the lower wings are picot to look like real bat wings.
What more could the self respecting punk/goth baby need but it's own "scary" bat blankee. Hope all you punks like it!
